CeeRent terms and Philippine rental paperwork, in plain words — from deposit holds to OR/CR and colorum.
- BBooking request
- What a renter sends from checkout while your payment account isn’t verified yet: nothing is paid, the car is kept for them, and you accept or decline it on the booking. Accepted requests are paid at pickup. More about Booking request →
- CCheckpoint documents
- A letter of authority and a QR code on the renter’s booking page. An LTO, HPG or PNP officer scans the QR and sees whether the rental is valid right now, the plate and the operator. More about Checkpoint documents →
- Claim pack
- A printable file for one booking — renter, vehicle and rental details, handover photos, damage records, incidents, the GPS trail and signatures — to save as PDF for insurance or small claims. More about Claim pack →
- Cleaning bufferalso: turnaround buffer
- Hours blocked after every return so the unit can be cleaned and checked before the next renter. 3 hours unless you change it; renters can’t book inside it. More about Cleaning buffer →
- Colorum
- A vehicle carrying paying passengers without an LTFRB franchise. It matters when you rent with a driver; CeeRent keeps each unit’s CPC and papers so you can check. More about Colorum →
- CPCalso: Certificate of Public Convenience
- The LTFRB franchise for a vehicle used for public transport, e.g. with-driver rentals. Stored per unit with its case number and validity. More about CPC →
- Credit memo
- The document issued when money goes back to a renter (a refund). Numbered CM-000001 onwards, sharing one counter with your receipts. More about Credit memo →
- DDemand pricing
- Rates that move with demand between a floor and a ceiling you set. Off, suggestions for you to approve, or automatic. More about Demand pricing →
- Deposit hold
- A deposit paid by card or Maya is reserved on the renter’s account, not taken, and dropped after a clean return. Rentals longer than 7 days are charged instead and refunded after the return. More about Deposit hold →
- Deposit release promise
- How many hours after the return you promise to give the deposit back — 24 by default. Renters see it, and it appears on Today if you’re running late. More about Deposit release promise →
- Draft
- A copy of your booking site you can change without renters seeing it. Publish a draft to make it live; you can roll back to an earlier version. More about Draft →
- EeLicense
- The LTO’s digital driver’s licence in the LTMS app. Renters can paste its QR text so you can check the licence. More about eLicense →
- FField licence
- A cheaper user licence for field staff and drivers. They see only their assigned pickups and returns and the handover check. More about Field licence →
- GGrace period
- Minutes a renter can be late returning before late fees apply — 60 by default. More about Grace period →
- HHandover check
- The guided inspection at pickup and at return: photos around the unit, fuel and odometer, add-ons, and (at pickup) the licence, agreement and payment checks. More about Handover check →
- Licence codes
- Restriction codes on a Philippine driver’s licence. CeeRent checks code A for motorcycles and B, B1 or B2 for cars before pickup. More about Licence codes →
- NNo-show
- A renter who doesn’t come for a confirmed pickup. After 3 hours you can mark the booking a no-show, which frees the unit. More about No-show →
- Number codingalso: UVVRP
- Metro Manila’s rule that keeps cars off the road one weekday by plate ending (1–2 Monday … 9–0 Friday), 7–10 AM and 5–8 PM. Renters see it on the vehicle and booking pages; motorcycles are exempt. More about Number coding →
- OOfficial receiptalso: OR
- The document issued for every payment a renter makes, numbered OR-000001 onwards, with the VAT split out. More about Official receipt →
- OR/CR
- A vehicle’s LTO Official Receipt and Certificate of Registration. Included in the renter’s checkpoint documents. More about OR/CR →
- Over the counteralso: OTC
- Renters pay cash at a partner store or payment centre using a reference number; the booking confirms when the payment arrives. More about Over the counter →
- Owner statement
- A monthly statement for a co-owner or investor: what their units earned, what was spent on them, and their share. More about Owner statement →
- PPayment account
- Your own Xendit account, where renters’ payments settle before going to your bank. CeeRent never holds your renters’ money. More about Payment account →
- Payment link
- A link (ceerent.com/pay/…) or QR Ph code for a booking or any amount. The renter pays by GCash, Maya, card, QR Ph or over the counter. More about Payment link →
- QQR Ph
- The Philippine standard QR code for payments. Any bank or e-wallet app can scan it. More about QR Ph →
- RRoRo
- Roll-on/roll-off ferries between islands. Off by default; your policy decides whether renters may take a vehicle off the island. More about RoRo →
- SSafeguard
- An extra deposit you can ask for on a booking the risk check flags as high-risk. It must be cleared before pickup. More about Safeguard →
- Subdomain
- Your booking site’s address on CeeRent, like yourname.ceerent.com. Chosen at sign-up. More about Subdomain →
- TTNVS boundary
- A weekly rental to a ride-hailing driver, paid in weekly periods. Set up in Long-term rentals. More about TNVS boundary →
- VVAT split
- Prices include 12% VAT. Receipts show the VATable amount (total ÷ 1.12) and the VAT separately. More about VAT split →
- Verified by CeeRent
- A badge on your booking site after CeeRent checks your DTI or SEC registration, BIR 2303 and mayor’s permit. Renters can look you up on the “Is this rental legit?” page. More about Verified by CeeRent →
- WWidget
- A small booking box you paste into your own website with one line of code. It shows your vehicles, prices and dates, and sends renters to your booking site to pay. More about Widget →
